Heisey selfishly steals a save opportunity from Marshall by extending the lead with a double off the wall.

Not sure why anybody would throw Heisey a fastball.

Want to see Heisey get some starts in LF but also in CF. Stubbs had too many PAs last year. He is prone to long slumps, Stubbs needs an occasional day off against RHP.

Marshall can simply create his own save opportunity by pitching ineffectively.

Going back to that inning. Why Stubbs was not allowed the straight steal on a C with less than 18% CS rate is baffling. You do not have the P coming to bat after hanigan....so it's not like they would IW him when Stubbs steals that base.

Would be nice if this was an omen of things to come.

Can't believe I am watching the Reds with a ninth inning lead and Cordero isn't pitching.

Marshall strikes him out, game over.

Reds didn't get their first shutout in 2011 until the 34th game on May 8 against the Cubs.Cueto started that game as well.

Marshall made poor Stanton look hopeless.
