Near pick off of DeJesus, count goes 2-2 on Soriano, ball three just off the plate.

    Long homer two zip Cubs.

Fastball right down the middle. Bounce a slider up there and Soriano swings at it.

Why do you throw heat to Soriano there?

Good thing is that will probably be all Cueto gives up.

    Agree completely.

Those ball three pitches are dangerous. Pitchers fear the walk and tend to make them too good. That's my guess, that Cueto just didn't want to walk him and paid the price.

    Three down. 2-0 Cubs.

Frustrating inning. Cueto hits DeJesus with an 0-2 pitch, then throws Soriano a meatball on 3-2.

Don't like the match up with Samardzija against this lineup. Although this guy seems like a bit of a goof after that HBP. Get in his head.

I think we can get to him. The key is Cueto not allowing more than another run from here out.

Any one else watching on directv channel 661-1. My reception is very choppy.

What's frustrating is that the Cubs have two guys who do almost all the damage. Soriano and Castro.

Can't let those guys beat you. If somebody else gets hot, so be it.

Bruce up now, pitcher had Heisey picked off but goes to second safely on a bad throw to first.

Bruce fans. This Cubs pitcher is pretty good.
