Ummm...Foxtrax just showed Locke just threw 7 straight balls to Cozart yet somehow the count went full. Another stellar job by the home playe umpire...

Drat! Cozart runs for all its worth there, but no dice. Thrown out at home.

Cozart thrown out at home on a Hanigan double down the line to end the inning.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Hanigan doubles into the corner but Cozart is nipped at the plate. Maybe. I would like to see that replay.

Not a Speier fan at all -- but the pitcher is next up and it was close

Not sure if the Reds have scored from 1st all year on a double, and rarely are going 1st to 3rd. I guess it's not 2010 anymore.

Replay makes it look a lot closer at home than I first thought...

    It definitely sucked.

But I don't think it was stupid. Bronson's up next, two outs. That run's probably not getting in. Make the defense make a play.

I suppose. Still the ball on the way to the relay man by the time he rounded third.

I got no qualms with the decision to send Cozart there, Pittsburgh had to execute perfectly to get him and they did.
