Was just looking up Charlie Sheen and the Reds and saw this. Not sure that I even heard this story.

The actor, who's marriage to DENISE RICHARDS broke down recently, generously entertained CINCINNATI REDS team members at his California home when he was at the height of his wild days.
Article was from 2005...maybe the whole "height of his wild days" needs to be re-written?

Wow. Dibble's comments are pretty funny. It was the 1990 team.

The first name that popped in my head was Tom Browning.

Was Rick Mahler on the 1990 team?

With the possible exception of George Foster (who can be forgiven because of era) he may have been the ugliest Red of all time.

Every time I hear a Charlie Sheen party story, I'm reminded about the quote from the movie "Strips" Well, I want to party with you cowboy. Of course whenever I think about my "crazy" nights, they seem pretty pre-school compared to Chaz.

Wasn't Ron Robinson a part of that team, can't get any uglier than that!

Yeah, but was traded at some point during the season for Glenn Braggs.

I cannot imagine Rob Dibble engaging in any questionable activities.

I'm wondering how Marge would have reacted if she had found out about the shenanigans going on at Casa de Sheen. Would she have traded Browning or Dibble in the middle of the best Reds season in the previous 15 years?

I think she would have just said "Boys will be boys" as long as they kept allowing her to rub dog hair all over them. I suspect she had different standards for players than she did managers (Davey Johnson).
