    Touché!

Just bringing this back up now that his time in Chattanooga is (hopefully) over.

A little over 100 ABs isn't a great indicator but Membengal got the OPS right on the money.

I had .810. Just missed. I also predicted he'd be in the CF plans in the spring on 2009 and it looks like barring a disaster from here on out that it will be the case. In fact, he may even get a look with the big club this September.

    Why not?

I was way, way off, fortunately.

I like that they're creating a little momentum for Stubbs. His progress had been plodding prior to AA, so this is really his first taste of true success. That can help.

I was low on AVG and OBP and OPS and high on SLG. But, in my defense, I didn't think the REDS would be stupid enough to promote him after only 100 AB's. If he'd remained in AA for the rest of their season, his SLG would have increased some more and then I would have been closer.

    WooHoo!

In case you all wanted to know, I called Jock when it landed on the magic number and talked him into the bizarre promotion...

    You weren't low on OPS.

And maybe it's just me, but I could do without calling the front office "stupid" because they made a move you disagree with.

What would you call it? Mentally challenged?
