Can't disagree with anything he says. Wenger ventured into 100% nutter territory by blaming the press for yesterday's disaster. I love Wenger and he has provided some of the most sublime moments in football history. I now think it is time for him to move on, as I don't see a path back to anything resembling confidence from the supporters.

On a side note if you enjoy reading arseblog, you should check out So Paddy Got Up. Very good book that I downloaded for $2 from Amazon.

Not EPL but happy with my boys Leicester Citys start in the Championship 7 points from our first 9 and both wins were tricky away matches. We have only able to bring in one player and a loanee from Aresnal this season because off the new salary ruling.

From the "Well, didn't see that coming" department, Cincinnati scored as a top-10 market for the opening week EPL coverage:

Man City absolutely thrashed Newcastle today. Just total dominance.

A new favorite follow of mine on twitter is @TancrediPalmeri. He is an Italian writer who is unusually plugged into the entire European football scene. He is also a funny dude. He just kicked off his podcast on soundcloud called, "Football Killed Tancredi".

COYS indeed. I am a newly minted Spurs fan because of their signing of my favorite player - Erik Lamela. Will be play tomorrow vrs the gooners? I am anticipating his Premier league debut.

That tis the rumor. Some unreliable media reports saying it's already done.

    Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague
AFC and RM reached deal for Ozil, €45m+5 in objectives. BUT not personal terms agreed yet, lots separating AFC and player.

And it could easily have been 1 or 2 more, the way Arsenal dominated play in the midfield for the majority of the first half.

I saw a different game. I thought it was a intriguing midfield matchup between Arsenal's skillful, incisive passing (when they had the ball - which was less than usual - only 43%) versus tottenham's destroyers (who won the ball effectively - 57% possession - but seemed to lack creativity). Gibbs vrs Townsend was a great battle to watch on the wing.
A good competitive match that the gooners deserved the win.
