American Psycho. I have no idea why, but it was entertaining in a very sick, twisted way. It left a lot of room open for interpretation...
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. It was alright. My wife thought it was funnier than I did but she's a huge Adam Sandler fan.
I know what you mean, but the jokes were more subtle than your typical Will Ferrell joke. The laughs would come from things done as part of the plot, not a joke thrown into conversation. Still, I enjoyed it and would rate it a 6.5 out of 10 on my own personal scale...
A guy I know was Patrick Bateman for Halloween. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of it first.
My Dad flipped on Midway the other day for AMCs Vet marathon.
eh, its no Saving Private Ryan.
The newest movie I just saw though was the Jessie James movie with Brad Pitt. Not to shab at all.
"The Hall of Fame is there to keep alive the memory of people. You don't need to do that with people like Buck [O'Niel] and Joe [Nuxhall]. Nobody's forgetting those guys."
- Joe Posnanski
Open Range on tv the other night. I've seen it several times. Very good movie I think. Love me some Robert Duvall.

"Sit over here next to Johnathan (Bench)...sit right here, he's smart."--Sparky Anderson
I love American Psycho. AK's comment reminds me that one day when I put the effort into getting a decent costume I want to make the video "Patrick Bateman Teaches Music Class".
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
I watched Hot Fuzz the other day. Loved it.
Escape from the Planet of the Apes. I'm working through the whole series again. It feels more like a long episode rerun of Cannon or Mannix with ape masks. However, there's a terrific surprise ending.
Zack and Miri
It was pretty good. I say that assuming you are the type of person that would find this movie funny...you know who you are.
Grade: B
The Futurama movies aren't as good as seasons 2,3 & 4 of the show but they are pretty funny. This one was a parody of Dungeons & Dragons ( or so I'm told ).
.
Role Models
Solid B. A lot funnier than I thought it would be. Super formulaic plot but the people involved are so weird and subversive that it had enough surprises and was surprisingly well paced.
Kung Fu Panda - yes I have two youngins.
Entertaining but not the best work by DreamWorks.
