BTW, given the current personnel, I like the Heisey leading off move.

Bruce walks, good at bat after 0-2 start. Two on, no out.

Bruce walks. 1st and 2nd. Good opportunity for some insurance runs.

Frazier bunts. The pitcher makes a diving catch. He then throws to 1st to attempt a DP and throws the ball away. Phillips goes to 3rd. 1st and 3rd with 1 out.

Don't see bunting with Frazier there. But it worked out ok due to the error. Costanzo, please hit the fly ball, man.

I like having Costanzo DH to get him some at bats, given that the Reds don't have a really natural choice. To me, his hitting lefty is secondary.

Good 11 pitch AB. Mesoraco grounds out to 3rd. 6-3 Reds mid 8th.

Mes grounds out, but that was one heck of an at bat. Fouled off several with two strikes. Didn't lunge after bad pitches. Deep count, really worked the pitcher.

Good in theory, but you want a DH to hit. He's done OK, though. I fear he won't last long up in the bigs, though.
