Heckuva play by Joey Votto. It will go unnoticed but it was amazing.

This is the first pivotal moment of the game since we've had the lead. Time to man up.

Shame we didn't have a lefty up. This is a high leverage situation if there ever was one.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Wait you're saying you take Bronson out here? No way, IMO.

    Gotta have faith in Bronson.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Yep. You have lots of off days. Bailey can give you 2 or 3 if you need him. I want my best pitcher in right now -- these runs count!
