He would probably not take calls for 2 weeks after the SB if Cam beat Peyton Manning or Brady in the SB. Alas, this cannot happen. When Aaron Rodgers won the SB Colin's show was funny because earlier in the season when the Packers started out slow he tore into Rodgers saying he was not an elite QB, and he would never live up to the Favre, etc and as Rodgers tore through the playoffs and won the SB Colin was consistently torn up by fans and then the day after the Super Bowl Rodgers himself called in and said "I just wanted to ask, am I elite now, Colin?" Made for some pretty funny sports radio.
How many "running" QBs have won a SB?

    Doug Williams

Also, I did not say "running" qbs

I said "athletic QBs with the ability to run."

Those guys didnt win SBs with their ability to run. Young was a tremendous passer, who I believe has the highest QB rating of all time.

I did not say "running qb." I said "athletic qb with the ability to run" which describes Steve Young perfectly. When you are a threat to run, which Steve Young absolutely was, defenses have to respect it and it will open up the passing game. I am not describing a running back playing quarterback. I am describing passers who hurt you with their running ability.

I am guessing other than sunday you have not watched Cam Newton much this year. I lived in Charlotte the past three years and have watched nearly every one of Cam's starts. He has an absolute cannon for an arm, I would not consider him a "running qb" either. He is an athletic qb with excellent running skills.

And highly inaccurate. His running attempts are at 7.6/game for his career. That ranks 1st in QB's. I would consider him a running QB.

These Conference Championship games are going to be highly entertaining. Looking forward mostly to the Seahawks/49er's.

Cam Newton seems to make MAWSW's (Middle Aged White Sports Writers) totally irrational in the way he is covered. Maybe it is the college stuff, maybe it is the brashness. I don't know. But, anything that upsets their pre-written narratives makes me happy.

Fox put a stop to that interview before they lost their FCC license forever.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

I think he just walked off. Erin Andrews was going to ask another question.

That guy is a bad sport, but he's really good.

    Stanford educated...

Sherman acted like a gutless coward who never won a game before.
