The NL Central has had good representation, 05 from the Stros, 04/06 from the Cards...the Cubs doesn't need to represent. Let them be the lovable losers that they are/always have been and go home!

If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

haha, i heard that, in my opinion you need to take care of the game at hand, it's not like they had a lead when he pulled him.

Yay!!! The Cubs are eliminated. I guess that investment didn't pay off.

Let me be the one to say it was sad to see the Cubs get swept. It would have been far more in their nature to lose the first two, then come back to force a game six, and then lose the big one.

Either way... Lee, Ramirez, and Soriano all choked big-time offensively, and the Arizona pitching staff has been on fire.

Yeah they did choke. I think the Arizona pitching staff is great though. They have Webb, along with tons of young flame-throwers from the bullpen. This team is going places. The only place the Cubs are going is down.
