    Stubbs would still suck if he was allowed to use an aluminum bat, the oppossing team could only have 2 outfielders, he got 4 strikes and 1 of the infielders couldn't use a glove.

    www.baseball-reference.com has a stat that shows how many times a batter has put his team ahead when either tied or behind. Votto has 11 such hits this year. Stubbs? Once. One freaking time he has put the Reds in the lead in a quarter of a season. Impressive.

    I almost typed a quarter of a century. Wouldn't be much difference I suppose.
