Never heard of the guy. Put up good numbers in AA at age 25. Hopefully he can sop up a few low leverage innings.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Maybe Freeman steps up and Ondrusek goes down.

Why are Josh Ravin and Curtis Partch even on the 40 man? Are these guys.....stuff guys they think will of a sudden turn it around? It is not like they have not had chances to show something, but all I see is old guys (For where they are at) who do nothing but get hit and walk people.

Ravin can throw 101 MPH. You give guys like that every possible chance you can. He also has a grand total of 25 innings in his life out of the bullpen. He went to the AFL and pitched well, walking 2 batters in 13.1 innings.

Partch was actually really good out of the bullpen last year. His problem was he was brutal through April as a starter. Not bad, but Bronson Arroyo on a bad day bad.

Okay, that makes more sense. Thanks

My understanding is that if Freeman appears in the game tonight, he'll wear number 42.

I hope we crush Philly tomorrow for a number of reasons. One of them is just because I'd like to get freeman in the game. I'm curious to see him.

Freeman's home run was a tough pitch to give one up on. Hope he gets another shot.

Yeah, hopefully he sees another shot in the majors and this is indicative of his career. Hopefully he can be a good bullpen arm here in the next few years for the Reds.

Yeah, but every ball the phillies hit off of him was absolutely tattoo'd.

Was his first inning in the big league, the kid was obviously nevous. Wasn't the best inning, but if that's him at his most rattled, then that's not so bad.

He pitched poorly in the Spring Training games I watched or listened to. Definitely didn't seem ML-ready at that point.

There is a reason he is in AA and not the Majors.

He'll probably go down to make room for Cingrani.
