This blip would seem to indicate that the officials got it correct.
The half nearly ended with a blooper to remember when Kent State's Andre Parker ran 50 yards in the wrong direction after a Towson player inadvertently touched a bouncing punt at his own 12.
The ball, however, was brought back to the Tigers' 12 with 17 seconds left until half. Kent State took a 27-7 lead on Cortez's 22-yard field goal as play expired.
Yeah, if you look at the drive chart you can see they brought it back to where he picked it up.
I bet the officials in the booth made the right call
