If it prevents him from ripping up his knee I have no problem with it, this is a game not a movie... I'm sure he'd do it if the game depended on it.
only 19 Reds have had season's with a .400 OB% and a slg% of .500, three of them are Votto, he'll do it again this year, let's at least acknowledge that he provides something very few players have for the Reds.
RBIs? Only nine of them had more than 100 and Votto has two of those seasons
