Trubo is a .750 OPS guy who can't field.

    Ludwick likely batter than that.

Bailey has no reason to give up a chance to test the free agent market just to do the Reds a favor though.

Trumbo has a career OBP of .299 and has had a OBP over 300 only in 1 of his 3 full seasons. I would want a lot more than that for Homer.

You may want to check that out more carefully.

I would be more apt to think about it for Leake, not Bailey.

Yeah i overstated a little there it was more the power numbers i was thinking about Trumbo. But maybe trumbo could pick up his #'s by switching leagues

Trumbo is a guy to try and get similar production from a UFA for $2M or so. Poor fielding 1B/LF who produces a .750 OPS. You hope you have an older minor league player who can produce that. You are basically talking about Xavier Paul, circa 2013.

You don't trade Homer or Leake for that.

Puffy is right. Trumbo isn't the type of player you trade Homer or Leake for. Trumbo is very overrated because of his home run totals.

Don't know. Trumbo struck out 185 times and had an OBP under .300.

Trumbo would fit in perfectly on this team. That's not a good thing btw.

At this point shouldn't this thread be titled trade speculation thread? There will not be many if any significant rumors until after the season is over.

I would actively look to trade Chapman this offseason.

Definitely think the low OBP is a huge red flag. Assuming Choo doesn't come back, outside of Votto, and Bruce to some degree, this team will be OBP deficient next season.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
