In a season full of amazing pitching performances, the biggest trade deadline acquisition of the year may be having one of the least talked about seasons out of anybody.
Lee is currently sitting at 10 wins. With an astonishing 9, count em, NINE walks on the season, compared to 137 strikeouts. A rate of 15.22, which if I do believe, would be the best control rate of all time and by a longshot. Then take into account that two of his nine walks were intentional.
Here's a crazy story about Lee's staggering control: http://www.sbnation.com/2010/8/12/16...z-five-numbers
Lee's 3 ball count rate is currently among the top 3 best pitchers in the league.... when being compared against other pitchers' WALK rates.
