He hasn't been as bad as Milton and doesn't cost as much.

Hopefully Mr Belisle's spot will see a different starter next time.
Maybe the Lehr fellow as a stopgap since Bailey got rocked.
I really felt with a good performance Bailey would take it after Matt's outing today.Course Homer might have thought that too.

Homer really did kinda put the brass and himself in a tough spot with that start tonite. And to think, given the timing of the Reds early game and the Bats game, Homer knew what Belisle had done before he ever threw his first pitch. Maybe that was part of his problem tonite; maybe he was too anxious to just get it out of the way and had problems with his concentration.

Bruce has been hotter than a firecracker the last week. He went 2 for 4 tonite with a 3 run homer. I guess if the Reds keep scoring like they have in the last 5 games, there won't really be that much imperative to bring Bruce up right now. However if the offensive woes return when Bruce is in a hot spell, I'd think he will be brought up.

Though he may not do it with flare, if Bronson can get back to giving us quality starts, he can make this team much more flexible. If he can take innings away from the bullpen, that can allow us to bring up Bailey, because he's had struggles with pitch efficency.

Ever since Bronson has left the Sox he hasn't been doing much for us lately this season or last season.

I sure don't agree with that... He was an all-star his 1st season in Cincy, and last year he led the staff in quality starts. He had a bad 6-7 start stretch that happend after Narron let him throw 130+ pitches, but he has certainly "done stuff" since he left the Sox.

Of course he's done stuff! He's made JTM commercials!! I say trade him. Sell his contract to someone else.
