I really don't like Chapman trying to overpower guys when he's on his 3rd consecutive day pitching... No reason for him to be in the game right now.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

This is the third straight outing for Chapman. I'm ok with it, he had a long rest during the five game losing streak.

Still, after that lead off hit, I'd have somebody warming up. Marshall and a righty.

I agree, but Dusty doesn't and neither does my dad. I'll just blame my dad if it doesn't work.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Heh. Entering the inning, the Reds had a 96% chance of winning the game.

He's been 2-3 mph off his typical speeds....until those 101's to Soriano.

99% of the other managers in baseball would've also used Chapman today, so we're really going to bash Dusty over the head with this?

Barrett Browning now pitching for the Cardinals. I sure hope he's a gun enthusiast....that's a heck of a name.

An ERA based on 14 IP was flipped up on the board without proper qualification, that's all. Nothing personal, just wish it had been noted.
