And really we aren't picking longshots here. Well, unless you happened to have voted for Vincej.

Ryan Wright? A college prospect who doesn't play a premium defensive position, and didn't do much with the stick last year over our new bonus baby with a golden arm? That doesn't make sense to me.

Does it really matter? It's practically a crapshoot after the first four prospects.
Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.

Three guys with MLB service time. Guys ranked in the 20-30 range turn out to be Major Leaguers. Looking at my personal lists, guys like Jeremy Horst, Pedro Villarreal, Denis Phipps, Henry Rodriguez, Daryl Thompson, Kristopher Negron, Sam LeCure, Pedro Viola, Enerio Del Rosario, Matt Maloney, Travis Wood, Robert Manual, Chris Heisey, Chris Dickerson, Paul Janish, Ramon Ramirez, Craig Tatum and Miguel Perez have all been ranked 25th or lower and have all spent some amount of time in the Major Leagues and several guys have spent decent time there. Major Leaguers are still out there on this list.

We have a new bonus baby with a golden arm? And please don't say Constante, because while he has a good arm, it isn't separating itself from plenty of other ones that aren't being voted for yet either (Ravin, Partch, Romano, Kivel, Perez).

Constante's not a bonus baby. Guys who get millions like Yorman and Duran are bonus babies. Constante got third to fifth round money. If that is your definition of a bonus baby then Wright is one as well.

I like Constante's upside more than any other pitcher you listed. I am about upside and potential impact on the bigs. Constante and others have that. Wright didn't hit in Dayton and doesn't have a bunch of raw tools either.

Josh Ravin can throw 101 MPH. Constante hasn't thrown a pitch to a professional batter yet. Ravin has dominated AA at times as a starting pitcher. His upside, while he may not be likely to reach it, is more than Constante. Sal Romano is the same age as Constante is, he held his own in the Pioneer League, throws just as hard, is taller and is a groundball machine. His upside is probably just as good, if not better.

I could make an argument to put 15-20 different guys here and be fine with it. Wright is one of those guys.

I agree there isn't too much of a differentiator between the arms, I just don't see the love for Wright.

A reason I like Constante more than Ravin is that Ravin's warts are very apparent already. Dude has a plus fastball, but still only has a 1:1 K:BB ratio. We should hope that Constante will have a much better than Ravin's career 6.71 BB/9.
