Alonso just doubled again. He's now 3-for-3 with two doubles.

It's really hard to believe the minor league season is just about over. This season has flown by, like it always does.

    Funny stuff, screwball.

    Jerry Gil has had a great start tonight for Carolina: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K, 85 pitches.

I'm not sure how Bankston only has a .765 OPS on the season. It seems like everytime I look up he's going 4-5 with all kinds of extra base hits.

A Lew Ford walk loads the bases for Griffin with 2 out. And his grounder to right finds a hole to bring home 2.

    3-0 Bats.

Re: Sunday September 6th Minor League Game Updates

Bankston mercifully ends the 6th for the Indians, but not before the Bats put up a 7 spot. After 6:

    Heisey: 0-2, BB
    Hanigan: 1-3, BB, 2B
    Bruce: 0-3, BB
    Bankston: 2-3. 3B
    Frazier: 0-3
    Valaika: 2-3
    LeCure: 1-2, BB, 2 RBI

    LeCure: 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K, 4.49 ERA

    7-0 Bats.
