Phillips grimaced in pain twice during that at bat. I'm really stunned they keep playing him with that hand problem.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Since I already posted the D'Backs defense , here's the Reds:

    Code:
                                         Stubbs

I hear yah... But, if the Reds were off/not on TV that would be one of the times I'd watch the Yankees.

I kind of agree with 320 here. Phillips is clearly hurting, as you're alluding to. They need to get him rested up and healthy. I'd rather take the chance the Reds lose a game or two without him than have him 70% (or whatever he is) in the playoffs.

The Reds need an equation to solve for this Hudson kid. He has their number.

He's had everyone's number since he came over. I think his worst start was against the Reds last time he faced them

Well, for some of us...the Reds are NOT on TV. For me, I get the Astros or whatever ESPN/MLB Network tosses me...which more often than not is Bos/NY. Oh well. I'll drop it.

Joey needs to get hot pretty soon if he wants a shot at the triple crown still. That BA title is slowly slipping out of his reach.

True, he's pitched well against everyone since being traded. However, the Reds have the distinction of being the only one he struck out 10 against

I'll take the 10 strikeouts if it means we can get 3 runs again
