It's on him...in ST he basically said he didn't plan on changing. And Baker wants us all to look the other way. Sorry, but that's just not possible.

Stubbs is not a smart player. He's as obnoxiously stubborn as his manager, who could be his role model.
Believe me, I'm not defending Stubbs' lack of plate discipline. Just in that particular at-bat, he didn't stand a chance with the way the zone was being called. Whether he would have had the same approach on actual strikes...probably not.

DatDude needs to heal fast. Zero gets accomplished putting Stubbs at leadoff in his absence.

Nice efforts by Jose 2 days in a row. Despite all the things to complain about, if we keep getting this effort from the bullpen, we will be a decent team.

Ummm....CF bats leadoff, dude. It's the proper call with or without BP. CFs are fast, and fast is all that matters when choosing a leadoff hitter.

Yeah it's something to be worried about. We have one guy who you feel comfortable giving you 7-8 innings on most of his starts, and he's more often than not going to give up 5 runs in that 7th or 8th. Not good.

If Cozy can get aboard, Joey owns Lidge in his career.

Ugh, never mind. Maybe Joey can at least get aboard. What a horrible (continued) showing from the offense.

Kinda surprised they went to Lidge and not Rodriguez.

And there's that not-a-strike strike call again. SWING!
