    The nasty factor on Volquez's curveball was 99.

    2 quick things....1) Redzone would crash and never recover if "we" had the Giants offense and 2) i hate to sound sexist but that lady PA announcer is not the way to go

    After 4 innings, Reds 2, Giants 1.

    Sanchez at 73 pitches, 40 strikes.
    Volquez at 70 pitches, 41 strikes.

    He got out of it. The Giants did a good job that inning by going the opposite way on Volquez.

    Looks like he's found his groove again. He was trying to be too fine, but now he's back to that nice, easy slinging action.

    On a side note, I really can't stand listening to Bobby Valentine. ..his condescending tone rubs me the wrong way.

    I chose to watch the Tony Awards tonight instead of the Reds game and I know very little about any of the plays or musicals that were big this year. That tells you how I feel about the ESPN announcers, LOL
