Single up the middle 9-0 good guys. Nice job by Stubbs.

Just want to say that Stubbs looks like a different hitter since Dusty moved him to second spot in the lineup.

    Very good move by Dusty.

Now that the Reds finally got the first two guys in the batting order hitting they just need to find someone to hit 3rd.

Yeah I agree that he looked safe but being up 9-0, I'm not going to complain....too much.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Votto hits into a force play which had the oddity of the runner being clearly safe. Not even close. If Votto loses the batting title by two points, that's it right there.

Did they call Stubbs out or was it Votto at 1st?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
