Well, we still can't score without hitting homers, but it's nice to see (at least the last 3 days) we can hit homers out of anywhere.

This game is classic Reds 2012.

First inning out, out, Votto gets to second, out.

Later first and third one out, Stubbs fans, Reds don't score. (Atypical is the Votto K.)

Then the Reds score on homers.

As long as they win. . . .

Kind of anti-climactic after the 2 homers, eh?

Hanigan has been flashing some power this weekend. He hit that one a ton.

Marquis is the type of pitcher that shouldn't survive a third time through the lineup.

Bruce, who hits best at home, will have a lot of opportunities in the second half.

Reds have a lot of home games.

He needs to have a hot second half. Particularly if Votto is gimpy for awhile, Jay really needs to turn it up a notch and dominate at home.

Pirates won 13-2. Cards are losing 4-2 in the 9th.

Cueto flies out to right. 3-0 Reds mid 4th.

Dempster back off the DL goes 5 IP, 4 hits allowed, 0 runs today as the Cubbies shut out the Mets. Dempster lowers his e.r.a. to 1.99.

Never realized how much power Ryan Ludwick has. When he its it, it stays hit. He's had some real bombs this season.
