Why does it seem like the Reds make so many bone headed base running plays? They gotta lead the league in bonehead plays.

I would prefer if they only pitched once in a halley's comet.
So almost half the season in the books and the Reds have one quality series win. Is that not the resume of a pretender? Not saying it is gonna stay that way all year, but at this point it is hard to argue against it.
Because you watch them more than every other team in baseball combined.

The play was in front of him....as soon as that ball is cleanly fielded he's gotta get back. He was a step or two too aggressive. What did Hatcher do wrong?....tell him to slide but Frazier interprets that as turn around and make an easy out.

The Reds are a really good team. They do most things better than most teams in baseball. They have the 3rd best winning percentage in baseball. They likely don't make more dumb base running plays than most teams in baseball.
Big problem here is that Reds may have decided that Arroyo will pitch until his turn at bat.
