[QUOTE=AvesIce51; Him hitting a HR is huge, bc he just flat out doesn't hit HR's, so that tells me his wrist is ok. [/QUOTE]

    That's his 3rd Hr in his 77ABs.

I believe .247 is his OPS (just kidding . . . or am I?). According to milb.com, Jerkinson's BA is .222. He's not very good.

I believe both Votto and Bruce will be called up in September when rosters expand, but I could be wrong.

I think Perez will be a serviceable backup someday. I've heard from insiders (Tony Reali: Innnsiddder information (points click up)) that Perez is ML ready defensively (prior to injury). I've also seen him play many times in Dayton, and I thought he was ready defensively then too, as did a Cardinals scout I talked to then. He will be the new Manos de horo (sp?) if he makes it. Has a cannon too. Likes to gun guys from his knees and can do it.
Actually Perez had a rib removed in spring training.

Bring up Votto as soon as possible, but I'd wait until late June 08 on Bruce due to his age, to let him get maximum minor league development thereby minimumizing his ML development time, and gain an extra year before he's FA eligible.

It's to relieve pressure on his subclavian artery.

I'd like to take "Things I didn't know before I joined Redszone" for $500 Alex.

Is Cueto's promotion permanent, or a one start thing like earlier in the year.

Or is it a we will tell him it's for start but if he pitches we'll keep him up here for awhile, much like Bruce?

I don't know the answer, but I hope it is, and I hope he gets a REAL shot at making the roster out of spring training. That way we will have... hope.

It would be good to have both Bailey and Cueto in spring training. That would be a bit ambitious , though.
