    I've never seen only the OF umpire make the infield fly call ever in the playoffs.

    The infielder was called off by the LF, how can that be an infield fly?!?

    The point of that rule is so the defense can't get cheap double plays, right? The point is for the baserunners to know I thought.

    So what is the point of calling it .5 seconds before it lands halfway out to the LF wall?
