Great game. Vogt hit a good pitch there too.

It's only 124 at bats. I'm sure you could find 124 at bats throughout his career where he's done the same.

Byrd and Morneau do it again. Bucs up 2-0. I can't remember a team getting this type of essential production from August acquisitions.

Walt looks worse and worse with each additional knock those guys collect.

Where in the world was the Pittsburgh SS on that??? Looked like a routine grounder off the bat.

Mark Melancon vs. Carlos Beltran with a one run lead in an October game? That may have been the most predictable HR in history.

I know there is no such thing as clutch....but Carlos Beltran doesn't know it.

Funny how the Cards battled Liriano and got him to 101 pitches in 6 inn and Pirates had Kelly at 85 thru 5 1/3.

Hopefully the next Reds manager understands how this works.

And Marlon Byrd has been great....hopefully Walt understands how this works.

There's some Byrd flying around PNC Park, causing havoc to some Cardinals.

Wish we would have had that little Byrd in Cincinnati the last few weeks.

The Pirates are 3 outs away from Cardinals fans crying on a website about the behavior of the fans at PNC.

My wife just nominated Matt Adams for ugliest man in baseball.

I just can't see how any Reds fan can actually enjoy watching Pittsburgh win, even if it is over St. Louis. The idea of them winning a playoff series before us makes me sick.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Bucs win 5-3. Up in the series 2-1.

Years of whiny little female dogs.

Years of Redszone bombarded by whiney little, ignorant, obnoxious Redbirds fans when they are winning and beating the Reds.

A few games where a few fans act like jerks doesn't come close to overcoming that.

Pirates have always been a classy organization, even if some of their fans were not. Can't say the same for the Cards.
