Ooh, that's interesting. Didn't think about it that way.
Still, I wonder if that's who the ricin is for after all. It's gotta be Lydia or Gretchen/Elliot

Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.

Damn. That scene killing Andrea was rough. I can't see anyway Jesse lives. Even if the Uncles are killed by Walt and Jesse is free, he's looking for the first available bus to walk in front of.
Unless he kidnaps Brock and raises him.
"I know a lot about the law and various other lawyerings."
Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.
I liked this episode. The last cabin and bar scene was sad.

Well, that hasn't been made real clear but Walt made it sound early in the show like it would be similar to having a common stomach bug.
Looking online at symptoms, it sounds like nausea, vomiting and diarrhea would be the worst of it until the very end. Eventually you'd die of dehydration or difficulty breathing. Given Walt has lung cancer, though, that sort of death may get him anyhow.

I don't see a reason he takes the ricin and no way his family gets the money. How is that even possible.

He's dying of cancer...
But that could still be months if not longer. He might not want to spend any time behind bars and would rather control his own fate.
The ricin wouldn't really make sense being used on anyone else. The only people he intends to kill will be done in such a way he wants to get the satisfaction out of doing it. Killing with ricin wouldn't accomplish that in such a way.

Unless something else happens that we haven't seen, why would he kill Lydia? At this point, he has no animosity for her and would have really no reason to kill her. His animosity would be directed toward Jack's crew specifically for stealing his money and killing Hank. Moreover, if he's going to kill people with an M60, why would he go to the trouble of trying to poison her? He's not worried about consequences now, just vengeance.
