Bronson Arroyo signed with Arizona Diamondbacks.

Am I going blind or has nobody posted this yet? Jayson Stark reported this almost 13 hours ago.

    http://espn.go.com/mlb/blog/_/name/s...medium=twitter

Sayeth Bronson: "I don't know what to do," Arroyo said. "I'm not trying to break the bank. But I am a guy who's performed for the last 10 years as consistently as anybody in the game. And for some reason, nobody's thrown me an offer yet."

    Sayeth Bronson's agent: STFU, Bronson.

Reds should sign him for a $6M, 2 year deal and move Mike Leake for a LF bat and call it a day.

I wonder if he means he hasn't received an offer in his ballpark but deals like 2 year 6 mill have come.

Sign him for another year. Come on BA. You've got unfinished business here in Cincy.

He probably was expecting the GM's to act like the women he "dates," and make him an offer when he tells them he's a MLB pitcher. Only the GM's aren't 19, nor drunk.

Re: Bronson Arroyo says he hasn't received a single offer

Maybe his agent put the word out that Bronson wants a 3 year deal, and that's why he hasn't gotten an offer yet. I imagine the 4-5 teams with rumored interest would make an offer if he was willing to go down to 1 or maybe even 2 years.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.

•A source with direct knowledge of Bronson Arroyo's negotiations tells MLB Daily Dish's Chris Cotillo (Twitter link) to "don't believe everything you read" in regards to Arroyo's claim that he hasn't received a firm contract offer this winter.

Is there a backstory to this, or just random hostility?

I'd offer a one year deal for about what the Reds gave Leake.

What LF bat could Mike Leake reasonably bring?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

You would if you ran the Reds, or just in general for most teams?

For the Reds. I wouldn't sign him if I had to give up a draft pick.
