Is this what baseball will look like in the future?

My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Pretty cool - I don't know about the pitchers and catchers having that kind of heads-up display in their helmets, but I could see it (actually pretty soon) for the umpires.

I hope there's no Boise State blue turf EVER, though!

That right there is really not a bad idea.

Pretty sharp. I'm sure that just inspired a new video game!
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

I would like to think the old AllSport Griffey commercials are the future of baseball.

The future of baseball? Of course not! Where are the hoverboards and android gloves?

Baseball Simulator 1.000 was the greatest baseball video game on the NES (easily) and possibly ever.

Pretty sure the Mets still won't be good then.

Yeah, I know it was my personal favorite, too. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time playing that game.

I'd say Baseball Stars, but Baseball Simulator 1.000 would be my second choice.

Those videos are pretty awesome, but did anyone else think to themselves "Even a robot Piazza couldn't throw out a runner at second!" (Catcher in the second video is wearing jersey #31)

Baseball Stars forced you to play tedious games against the Lovely Ladies in order to earn enough money to build your team. 1.000 was just more fun. Plus, rocket throws from the outfield!

True, but I did like the looks of new Madoff Field.
