The Cincinnati Reds have assigned Brodie Greene to Advanced-A Lynchburg. Greene will join the team in time to play in the first half-ending series against Potomac. He was drafted in the fourth round of this year's MLB First Year Player Draft out of Texas A&M University.
Greene played four years at Texas A&M, where he led all starters in average (.395), home runs (14), RBI (55), walks (24) and slugging percentage (.673) during his final season.

LaMarre missed some time this year with an injury, too.I'm not really understanding why he is starting higher than LaMarre? The only thing I can think of is age. He's older than LaMarre.
