So is he a headcase like Cueto?

He doesn't think anybody should ever advance through the Reds system....they should never be challenged.

    Not ever.

I think Votto will be a .500+ SLG guy in the majors someday, but if not it still wouldn't bother me a bit if he turned out to be a right handed Kevin Youkilis.

Possibly, but I understand where Joey is coming from. The poor behavior by the Reds FO channels down to the field.

    Votto's a lefty.....but I know what you meant.

Doesn't Votto strike out more then Youk though?

Man, I wish I was at the Louisville game. It looks great.

Side question here. How many pitches do managers generally allow these guys to go? It's probably different for everybody, but as a rule do AAA pitchers get limited to 90 or less?

Brain fart. I meant if Votto turned out to be a LH Youkilis. With Bruce, Hamilton, possibly Dunn, EdE, and Phillips, the Reds could afford a .475 slugging from Votto as long as he continues to get on base around .400. But I'm on record as thinking he will be a .500+ SLG guy who hits 25 homers and 35-40 doubles.
