I'm going to **hopefully** see Jay Bruce and the Bats play in Columbus tonight barring the weather/call up (which needs to happen ASAP anyways). I'll take some photos of the Man assuming the Nazis (Clippers seat ushers) don't confiscate my camera.

Dragons announcer says Valiquette will be promoted to "another club" after this game.

Mez gets down 0-2 early, then fouls a couple off before working the count 3-2, then drawing a walk. I think the kids a ballplayer.

Daniel Perales, the return from, I believe the Salmon trade?, maybe Coutlangus, has a 3 hit game.

Mesoraco: 1 for 3 with a single and walk
Perales: 3 for 4 with 2 singles, a double and 2 RBIs

I would love to see a lineup with Kel Jones, Sean Henry, and Danny Perales, Drew M. Anderson, Jose Castro, and a few others (i.e. Mike DeJesus). That's a heck of a lot of short guys who may be Major Leaguers one day. I know the chance of that happening is close to non-existent, but just let me dream.
I wonder if he'll still play tonight?
I wonder if Cumberland or Strait go to AAA to take Bruce's spot.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
The really weird Stubbs split is his home/road splits.
At home he is hitting .190/.289/.286 for an OPS of .574
On the road he hits .352/.449/.538 for an OPS of .987
Why would this be? Ed Smith stadium is not THAT bad of a hitters park, is it? Does he have a newborn baby that cries all night? After 200 plate appearances, this is not a real small sample size. Any ideas folks?
