Ump missed that one, Howard should have K'd on 3 pitches. That pitch was right down broadway.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Doc looked just as good the last time the Reds beat him. So you never know.

The last two nights have me wanting to not watch, but I can't not watch, if that makes any sense.

Anybody else think the Reds rookie pitchers get squeezed? The home plate ump has missed two pretty obvious strikes in this inning alone. MLB At Bat showed both pitches clearly in the strike zone as well.

Rooks always get squeezed while veterans get the benefit of the doubt. Remember Greg Maddux and the strikes 6 inches off the plate? And Brandon Claussen and balls down broadway?

    Just the way it is.
