    Here's a question....if Atlanta finishes with a better record than SF and wins the wild card play-in do they become the #3 or is the WC locked in at #4 regardless of record?

    The throw was up the 3B line a little but that is completely irrelevant. No out. Guy on a shaky knee and it was not a deep fly ball. I guess you're willing to risk your best hitter in that scenario. Sounds about right.

    Why is it irrelevant? Do you think perfect strikes are thrown to home on assists 99% of the time? Its called playing the odds.
