The flag hitting him in the eye was strange, but him attacking the ref was even stranger. Of course we have all heard of PED side-effects... oh yeah, the NFL tests for this (lol).
Anyhow... RIP and condolences to his family.
That incident forever changed how they throw flags. They now gently toss them underhand.
Was his eye permanently damaged? I thought the blindness was only temporary.
