Possible to "turn on" the youtube embedding code?

Every other message board that I post on allows the [youtube] code to embed youtube videos within posts. Is it possible to get that feature for RZ? It is a nice feature to have. Not sure what it entails.

    Thanks.

Re: Possible to "turn on" the youtube embedding code?

Definitely a Boss and GIK question, but I'd like to follow up and ask, does it automatically play a video if you open a thread or do you have to click play? If its auto, I would vote no because I don't want videos playing while at work without me pressing play. Probably a moot point as I'm sure you would have to hit play, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

You've got to click it to play it, Joe.

You can also click on the youtube video again after you click to play it and it will open up a new window to the youtube address for that video. Pretty handy.

This has been enabled for videos from YouTube, Google and Yahoo. To embed a video, simply provide a link to it within a post.

    Awesome. Thanks Boss and GIK.

Just out of curiosity, will the bandwidth for the "Youtube" thread get ridiculous if and when we post the actual vids?

Which Youtube thread are you referring to? As far as linking to videos, I don't see any potential bandwidth problems for us because the videos are streaming from an external site.

The only issue you guys would have would be from maybe extra views to the thread. Like you stated, the video's are being streamed offsite (youtube, yahoo, google) so thats all bandwidth on their end.
