Kenny makes me want to shoot my tv. It's one thing to spar with Harold Reynolds, but today he tried his shtick on Jim Kaat. Kaat has more pitching knowledge stored in his left pinky finger than Kenny could hope to amass in two lifetimes.

Watching MLB Tonight earlier and I was trying to decide who is more well spoken in English--Joey Cora or Mitch Williams?

I don't watch their daytime show but Brian Kenny never struck me as the least bit arrogant. He explains the sabermetric concepts well, and seems to challenge people's ideas in a good natured fashion. I disagree with Harold a lot , and he makes incorrect statements of fact more often than he should . But he has his uses. He's personable . As was pointed out above, he is great in the diamond demos. I also remember him as being one of the few analysts to argue - correctly - that the umpires in the NL all star game made the proper infield fly call. He broke that down with video extremely well .

There is nothing worse than turning on MLB Network and seeing Mitch and Harold. These guys flat out make things up... For instance, when talking about Jonathon Sanchez signing with the Dodgers, Reynolds said he would turning it around in LA and it would help to have fellow countryman Adrian Gonzalez on the team. As far as I know, Gonzo is American but has Mexican parents. Sanchez is from Puerto Rico. I use this as a specific example of what I think comes out of HR's mouth... One other is after Ichiro's walk-off last week, he stated that Ichiro could go deep anytime he wanted. My first thought is, "why doesn't he?"

Kenny can be annoying but HR is off the wall.

I like Kenny and Harold and Mitch, although I often disagree with them. When you are on the air that much you are going to say some crazy things once in a while and you are going to make some mistakes. These guys are not reading from a script like the guys on ESPN are.

I love MLB Network, but it is not perfect by any means. It sure beats the feces out of ESPN though!

Millar is to baseball media what Milli Vanilli was to the Grammy Awards

Mitch Williams is a pretty good color guy during broadcasts, he's got a lot to say about pitching that I find interesting.

I almost always side with Kenney on MLB Now debates. I thought Clubhouse Confidential was great. Recently Kenney has been pushing the notion that pitching victories are a useless stat. I agree to a point, but he seems to think they shouldn't be tracked. The snarkiness he shows during these discussions really is too much for me.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

This is a character flaw and I'd like you to work on it

He's really quite terrible in the studio for MLB Network.

I watched the game the other night, and listened to him for a while, and WM is right- he's actually a very good color guy, especially as pertains to pitching. Still talks about himself too much.

In a way he's kind of like the Cowboy, who in my opinion, has improved drastically as a color analyst (he's still terrible at pbp). Once you can get yourself past the point that you think you don't like him, and actually listen to what he has to say about pitching, he's not bad.

Agree with everything here. I almost always side with BK, but he can come across as condescending even though I don't think he means to. The old-school crowd is predisposed to viewing the new-school as slide rule toting know-it-alls and BK plays right into that stereotype. In fairness, I think it is an act for ratings as is much of HR's baloney.
