    It's great to see Gardner playing well again. It seems long ago that he and Pauly were considered prospects.

    Gardner would be, for me, a candidate for agressive promotion. He's lost a lot of time to injury, I'd let him pitch against the best competition he can possibly hold his own against.

    He could work himself back into the team's future, possibly as a bullpen arm, in short order if he can keep retiring hitters.

    Losing Gardner would be down right criminal since so many reds fans have pulled for this kid to be part of the Reds future.
