    Apaloosa

Who's gonna see it? I wanted to see it but it only opened in select cities last friday and none of those were close enough for me to see it. But definitely gonna watch this week it supposed to open in all cities this friday. For those who don't know it's a Western starring Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, Jeremy Irons, Renee Zellwegger and directed by Ed Harris. Based on the best selling novel.

If anyone has seen it please don't let the proverbial cat out of the bag but a simple thumbs up or down would be nice. I suspect it will be solid but not "classic", of course that's how I try to approach it so that I may be surprised if it is. I'm pumped about it so if it is a stinker just don't tell me anything until after I see it Friday thanks.

    Here's the trailer:

I haven't seen it yet and it will probably be a few weeks until I can, but someone I know saw it and said it was solid.

Haven't seen it yet but I heard it was solid. Another smaller, select cities release I saw last weekend that I really enjoyed was Rachel Getting Married. It was like being at a real wedding (for better or worse)!

Never heard of it until now.

Looks awesome. Reminds me of Tombstone from the preview.

I just saw it. It looks to me like there are only terrible films in theaters lately (I'm pretty picky), but this would be an exception. I'll probably post more in this thread tomorrow.

I love westerns, have seen the previews, and I'm looking forward to seeing it.... when it comes to DVD.

I have heard some critics mention that it will rival 3:10 to Yuma

Them is some purty big boots to fill. Good luck with that.

I read the book and it was ok. The story behind the book was good but the writing was very juvenile. I look forward to seeing it but I have to get the wife to go with me.

GAC what, why not the theatre? I've been to your cinema 8 there not a bad place. As a matter of fact I was just there in July to see Hancock, seemed fine too me.

I've seen 3:10 to Yuma twice. The first time, I thought it was pretty much amazing, but the second time, I just thought, "Eh, this is pretty good, but it's not that good." Some movies get better with repeated viewings, but 3:10 to Yuma got worse for me.

Having the time. Plus, it's only playing in limited locations and is currently not playing at the Bellefontaine Chakeres.

I saw an ad for it- they're comparing it to Unforgiven. Now, there are some big shoes to fill.
