I don't understand. Why do the Nationals do that thing where they don't swing when the pitchers throw it?
I'm sure there is some influence there. I don't think Dusty is hands on with the approach our pitchers take to the mound, I would assume that's more on Brian Price. I would think our approach at the plate comes more from Jacoby than anyone else, but you'd think at some point Dusty would tell some people to stop hacking.
I don't have a problem going after the first good pitch. We're swinging at bad pitches though.

I don't really know who the blame is on, but this is a couple or three games with Mes behind the plate where our pitchers have done this. Get a guy down two strikes and then waste a ton of pitches trying to get guys to chase...leads to walks and 3-2 fastballs.
