And? You don't think Baker has any influence on that?

It's like their approach when they're struggling is to just swing at everything. I don't get it.

    LaRoche walks. Werth forces him.

I don't understand. Why do the Nationals do that thing where they don't swing when the pitchers throw it?

I am equally befuddled by that.

I'm sure there is some influence there. I don't think Dusty is hands on with the approach our pitchers take to the mound, I would assume that's more on Brian Price. I would think our approach at the plate comes more from Jacoby than anyone else, but you'd think at some point Dusty would tell some people to stop hacking.

It's Dustyball. Dusty has said it multiple times....."we're going after the first good pitch" Unfortunately any scout worth a crap knows this.

Don't they know they can't get hits if they don't swing? Baffling.

I don't have a problem going after the first good pitch. We're swinging at bad pitches though.

Bailey has walked two in the second. What happened to first-inning Homer?

I don't really know who the blame is on, but this is a couple or three games with Mes behind the plate where our pitchers have done this. Get a guy down two strikes and then waste a ton of pitches trying to get guys to chase...leads to walks and 3-2 fastballs.

Tie ballgame. Homer makes that lead stand up for two outs. SMH.
