NM, my bad.
Actually FSN missed most of the between inning, 9/11 rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

The older I get - the better I was
and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)
I miss Raisor
Both bullpens going... Leake over 100 pitches...

I do not care for Junior Lake.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Leake done. Hoover will be in.
Reds Fan Since 1971
Leake is done. 107 pitches. He clearly didn't have his good stuff, but pulled several houdini's. Good job.

It would be really nice for the Rangers to not suck today and avoid a sweep by Pittsburgh. No score there yet....just a random thought.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

It seems like it should be easy, but once you start looking at the whole stadium, it's not. The sun/moon deck would be really hard. Club level, pretty easy. Left field seats, easy. Field box seats down by the dugouts, tough. Upper levels could be done, but still a LOT of access points and cabling.
At the game currently, was Leake getting squeezed or was he just struggling with command?
A rare feat for Reds starters.....all of whom are in the NL top 20 for fewest pitches per inning.
Arroyo leads the NL at 14.1, Leake 8th at 14.9, Latos 13th at 15.3, Homer 20th at 15.7
Add in the fact that they lead the NL in strikeouts, and it makes it all the more enjoyable to watch.
I believe the pitches/inning during the lost decade was around 32. At least it felt like that on a nightly basis.

A couple more runs could make this much more comfy

[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
