    4-25-11 Reds at Brewers

    Reds lineup vs. Brewers

    Stubbs 8
    Bruce 9
    Votto 3
    Phillips 4
    Gomes 7
    Cairo 5
    Hanigan 2
    Janish 6
    Arroyo 1

I like it, I think it's JUST the thing to jump start Bruce.

Who wants to make the first back to back lefties comment? No one? Fine I'll take it.

WHAAAAT?!?! Doesn't Dusty know it's illegal to bat two lefties back to back!?!?

Probably should be illegal to hit two lefties back to back -- against a lefty starting pitcher.

    Hope it works.

I like both Bruce at 2 and BP at 4. Not so sure vs a LHP, but I'll take it for now.

Vs a LHP, Votto might not be able to get any more protection than what he just got.

    Bruce in the 2.

Lots of prayers answered, lets play ball.

I might agree, if one of those lefties wasn't Votto, he of the career .887 OPS vs. lefty pitchers.

I'm fine with the switches but the problem still looks to be there....lot of easy outs from 5-9 in the order.

Huh? Phillips torches left handed pitching. Against righties is where you might be correct.

    I love the lineup.

    I did. I'm still confused.

Unless your saying Phillips and Gomes both kill LHP.

Si. People wanted him to have protection. Stacking BP and Gomes vs. a LHP is like wearing a Trojan when you are fixed and she is on the pill.

I can't imagine he would be yet, I still think it'd be another month or two
