Also went with Ryan Wright again. Also believe you could pick between 10-15 guys here and it would be perfectly fine.

Drew Cisco here for me, slightly over Garrett. I've always liked his polish and he's been quite strong in rebounding from Tommy John. In a lot of ways he makes me think of JJ Hoover in terms of makeup and repertoire.

I went with Garrett's upside now that Reynoso is finally off the board.

Bryson Smith for me. Not a star or even a starter IMO, but a fairly well rounded game and should crack the big leagues.

JJ Hoover throws significantly harder.

Garrett again, but Waldrop would be my next choice.

Re: Who is Redszone's #22 prospect for 2013
Hmm, looks like I mixed up the velocities from Hoover's time as a relief pitcher and that as a starter. He does throw significantly harder now.
Nonetheless, they do both get praised significantly for their command and both have the standard 4 pitches with none of them particularly plus, with the exception of Hoover's recent fastball development. Cisco is slightly shorter and has less potential to fill out, but I could see him taking a similar route to the majors via the bullpen if no room is available. |

What about adding Juan Duran to the list? I haven't heard anyone mention him in awhile.

Re: Who is Redszone's #22 prospect for 2013
For good reason. He still strikes out horrifically often, and didn't perform in the bandbox of Bakersfield. Unless he can make some serious adjustments, he won't make it past AA.
