Obviously the White Sox would have to eat some money, but they are going to be paying him anyway. If they can deal him and a bunch of cash to move the rebuild forward, they probably would. They wouldn't be asking for a future star, but a guy who could fill a role on the cheap for a few years while opening the 1B/DH spot for Viciedo makes a lot of sense from their perspective. A team without the burden of the big bucks or the need to play Dunn in the field could make good use of him IMO.
