Should I trade Gary Sheffield for Richard Hidalgo and Esteban Loaiza?

I would, though RH doesn't have the same HR power he flashed earlier his other numbers are looking better this season.

Esteban Loaiza is having a whale of a year.

GS though only has K'd 9 times... pretty amazing in todays game.

I would stick with Sheffield on this one.... Esteban Loaiza is having a very good year, BUT he plays for a bad team and He has never won 6 games before the All-Star break other than this year... GS will also steal a few bases here and there and bat for a pretty high AVG. Not to mention get 30+ homers 115+ RBI's and walk about 100 times.

Make me #4, Keep Sheff, he's going to have MVP type numbers when the season ends. I sure wouldn't trade that for Loiza and Hidalgo no matter how bad I needed pitching.

Loaiza has a history of fast starts, then he usually falls flat in May or June and ends up sucking.

Sheffield is consistently one of the top 10 outfielders in the game. Don't trade him.

Put me down for another vote for keeping Sheffield. He has more value to your team than either of those other players combined, imo.

As an owner who's been conned into drafting or dealing for Hidalgo a couple of times before, I say avoid him like the plague.

Loaiza's not going to keep it up, either, IMHO.

Shef's reliable. Hold on to him.
