Popped the question
As a surprise anniversary gift to my girlfriend, I proposed to her on January 9th, just a little after midnight (which was the same time we started dating following a ballroom dancing class). We went for a walk to a gazebo in library park in Miamisburg where I told her how much I love her, got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and asked her to marry me. She asked me if I was messing with her and if the ring was real. When she finally got over the shock, she hugged me and gave me a kiss...after which I asked her if that meant yes or if she was refusing to answer? She said that was a yes.
I've been through all of this before, but somehow I can tell that things are different this time and that this will work out and last forever.
